Full authorization on training of International Welding Inspection Personnel (IWT), September 22, 2016
On September 22, 2016 KazWeld received full authorization on training of welding inspectors and issuance of the IIW International Welding Inspector (IWI) Diploma in accordance with the Doc. IAB 041 “International Welding Inspection Personnel”.
From now on in Kazakhstan anyone can take training and get a diploma "International Welding Inspector" of three levels with unlimited period of validity:
- International Welding Inspector - Comprehensive (IWI-C)
- International Welding Inspector - Standard (IWI-S)
- International Welding Inspector - Basic (IWI-B)
The course "International Welding Inspector" is conducted by KazWeld’s Approved training body – The Certification Center for Nondestructive Testing (Karaganda city).
IWI Diploma holder may in the future be certified by Kazakhstan Welding Association "Kazweld" and obtain the certificate “Certified Welding Inspector” (CWI). The validity of the certificate is 3 years.
